Skateboards & Scooters

I swore I would never get the kids a scooter, because of all the hazards that come with it. Well, Nat's boss was going to get rid of his, and asked if there would be any takers. Nat jumped at the opportunity, without even talking to me first. All I can say, it was FREE. My favorite spending method! The kids saw it and haven't stopped practicing since. Jim also found Charlies old skateboard and is having fun on that too.

Your header picture is the BEST family picture I've ever seen in my life! That little girl reminds me of myself, poor kid.

Mary --
Thank you for the compliment, it's one of my favorites as well.
We are at the DC Temple. She was upset that she couldn't take pictures, so she refused to be in the picture. Ilike how her brother is looking at her, as if calling her back home. My FIL, was sneaky and got her in anyway. It reminds me of the lost sheep, and those who stayed.

I'm glad you changed your mind on scooters and skateboards :-) They're a lot of fun. My kids enjoyed hours on those. And they survived. They're now teenagers and has long outgrown scooters and skateboards but still like re-telling adventures they had while on those babies.
