If Prop 8 Doesn't Pass in California...

... This will Happen: read Tales of an Ordinary Housewife. OK, I try to keep my political view private (ignore the Prop 8 video above and the Yes on Prop 8 to the right). But I just have to say... Well, it's the Sabbath, so I won't. I was STEAMING MAD when I read that this actually happened right in our backyard (well, San Francisco). Who in their right mind would allow their children to go on a field trip to see their beloved teacher get married... to her, partner? OK, nuff said, I am so glad that I HOMESCHOOL my children! When is this EVER going to end? OK folks, we are in the BIGGEST fight of our time right now. Protect marriage and do what is right! If this law passes.... I can see a lot more people pulling their kids out of school and homeschooling them.

It's great to see fellow members of the church posting in the blogosphere with their support for Prop 8. Thank you and may the Lord bless all of our efforts.

I am right there with you...if it fails, I will be homeschool the kids (maybe not Avery though, I would have to convince her Dad...). It doesn't matter who was getting married, a trip to a "wedding" is NOT an appropriate school trip and should not be scanctioned by the school. If the parents wanted their children to attend, then they should have taken them out of school and to the "wedding" themselves....
