Nat got a JOB!  As you can see by the above picture, Nat was hired on with Amtrak.  He is a substitute ticket agent.  The kids and I could not be more proud of him.  This is the dream job that he has been wanting for quite awhile.  Yes, he had opportunities in the past, but the timing was not right until now.  He will be working here out of Sacramento, so no relocating... just yet.  So, now we are excited about starting up our search of home ownership again.

It feels so good to have the trial of unemployment behind us.  We believe that it was meant to be, especially since Amtrak posted his job the day before he was laid off.  I just love the fact that Heavenly Father has a plan for each and every one of us and will always open up new doors for us to walk through.

Now, as we are very excited for this new journey in life, my (Nic's) family has hit on hard times.  On this last Monday night, we were given some news that feels like we were hit by a train at full speed (no pun intended).  We found out that my Aunt has been missing since the 21st.

Even tho I am grateful that Nat has a job and is away on training, I am struggling to stay afloat with this.  Nat is my rock, and I wish he was here to help hold me up.  Don't get me wrong, I am also depending a lot on my Heavenly Father to get me through this.  I know that He will not give me/my family any trial that we cannot bare and get through, but nonetheless, it is a struggle and painful.  We ask that you please keep our family and my Aunt in your prayers.

I am still so tickled for your family with Nat landing such a great job! You are a solid rock and will be able to "weather" this time apart quite well. Bring the group to knitting. Pop them at a table with work to do and come try my spinning wheel this week! YOU NEED TO GET OUT WITH OTHERS.
